Dr. Joseph Fernandes
Dr. Joseph Fernandes is committed to providing thoughtful, comprehensive dental care in an environment where patients are heard, and supported. Originally from Alexandria, Virginia—just outside of Washington, D.C.—he is proud to now serve the Celebration community as part of the Lumos Dental Studio team.
Dr. Fernandes earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University College of Dentistry and completed a General Practice Residency at Louisiana State University. After practicing in New Orleans, he relocated to Orlando in 2022, where he has since continued to dive deeper into continuing education and providing exceptional care.
Beyond the practice, Dr. Fernandes is deeply involved in giving back to the community. He serves as an active clinical volunteer at Grace Medical Home and also as the Board Chair for Dental Care Access Foundation. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys staying active through sports, reading, cooking, and traveling to experience new cultures.
